Milo North Burn
Milo North Burn is an independent spiritual teacher and founder of Boundless Refuge. He practiced full-time for two decades within the Insight Meditation and Soto Zen traditions, including many years of intensive silent retreat practice and as a monastic. His teachers include Joseph Goldstein, Greg Scharf, Tenshin Reb Anderson Roshi, and Adyashanti. In 2019, he served as resident teacher at Dharmagiri in South Africa. From 2021 to 2025, he guided an annual three-month silent retreat. In 2026, he began offering shorter retreats and other forms of practice, making practice accessible to a wide range of people and more integrated with everyday life. His teaching is informed by deep practice in both gradual and sudden approaches. It has come to be expressed as a clear and simple pointing to the nature of mind here and now, and has helped many people find their path. He lives and practices in community in Muir Beach, California.
